Biography:
Dr. Yacine Atif received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 1996. After graduation, he worked at Purdue University in USA. Since 1999, he is with the UAE University where he currently coordinates Enterprise Systems and E-Commerce Programs of the College of Information Technology. His research areas relate to Education Technology in general. He focuses on the development of new didactic models for technology-enhanced learning. He made several research contributions to advance the state of the art in personalized e-learning and m-learning research, using evolving semantic Web technologies.
